Yaz on Toolarmy posts that Japanese retail is showing that a Vicarious DVD will be release on the 6th of September. No images or further information was made available, so your guess is as good as mine as to what actually appears. For those with short memories it was rumoured a while ago that the DVD may contain a Wings For Marie/10,000 Days video and/or some live footage.

Entitled ENTHEO ART, the "Journal of Visionary Culture" from the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors features, among other things mind-expanding, a stunning Entheo Art Gallery, an article about TOOL ("Tool: Sonic Visionaries") by ALEX GREY who discusses his relationship with the band, an interview (also by Alex) with Jan Kounen, the director of the underground psychedelic film "RENEGADE" (which contains some great CGI "trip scenes"), an article by Kevin D. Sachs, Ph.D called "The Psychedelic Art and Science of Stanislav Grof", a wonderful piece on DR. ALBERT HOFMANN (to whom issue #4 is dedicated - the good doctor having celebrated his 100th birthday on January 11) written by Alex who was among other notables of the psychedelic culture in attendance for the celebration/symposium, and some previously unpublished verses by yours truly that, in keeping with the Entheo theme, were originally part of an experimental ritual of ceremonial magick designed to 'trick', if you WILL, one's pineal gland into releasing trace amounts of a particular endogenous substance. The journal concludes with the informative "St. Albert and the LSD Revelation Revolution Guide" (and, yes, TOOL is included). Kudos to Eli Morgan and Marisa Scirocco for putting together this luminous, powerful DOUBLE ISSUE (85 pages), an 'exhibition' of visually striking art offering glimpses of non-ordinary realities. At times CoSM Journal #4 constitutes a virtual nierika, and is sure to become a collector's item. Did I mention some nice Tool concert photography shot by Eli!

so light in his way, like an apparition, that he had me crying out...
